El RCD Espanyol ha conseguido armonizar la estructura del recinto, con la comodidad y excelente visibilidad de los espectadores, un buen terreno de juego y, en el futuro, un entorno a caballo entre el deporte y el ocio con la puesta en marcha, por una parte, del centro lúdico familiar y, de otro lado, el nuevo campo de fútbol del Cornellà que ahora milita en Tercera División. Todo eso debe ir acompañado con la construcción de una moderna rotonda de acceso al campo desde el Cinturón Litoral.
